The Josh Greyson Band is not quite a traditional live band, and that is exactly the point.

Josh got his start in the wedding industry as a DJ, and when he eventually stepped into the role of band leader, he never left that part of himself behind. Instead, he built it directly into the band. Today, Josh plays the turntables like another instrument on stage, performing alongside the musicians and creating a true DJ and live band hybrid that is unlike anything else.

That approach completely changes what a live band can play. Songs that would normally never make sense in a band's repertoire suddenly become part of the night. A DJ track can blend into live drums, guitars and vocals. A song can move seamlessly into another without the energy ever stopping. The result is a repertoire that reaches far beyond what you would expect from a traditional event band.

It also means Josh approaches every event with the instincts of a DJ. He reads the room, watches the dance floor and knows when to change direction. There is no predetermined formula for how the night has to go. The band can move through pop, rock, dance, hip-hop, throwbacks and unexpected favorites based on what is actually happening in the room.

The result is the energy and musicianship of a live band with the freedom and atmosphere of a DJ set. It feels spontaneous, current and completely alive.
